Wetland Delineations and Permitting

We have performed wetland delineations for parcels ranging from 1-3,000 acres using federal, state, and local regulations. 

Our team has experience with General Nationwide Permits and Individual Permits submitted to the Army Corps of Engineers in the Savannah and Mobile Districts. 

We maintain regular contact with many agency representatives such as ACOE, EPD, USFWS, ADEM, Fort Benning DPW, SHPO, and local county/city regulators. 

The National Pollutant Discharge and Elimination System requires that all construction sites greater than 1-acre be permitted through the Environmental Protection Division and that weekly site inspections and stormwater monitoring occur.  We have submitted hundreds of NPDES permits and conducted 1,000s of weekly/rain inspections on numerous construction sites in the Tri-City Area. 

We work diligently with engineers and site contractors to address BMP failures and design issues in order to keep sites in compliance with their permit.  

We have experience conducting extensive terrestrial surveys for gopher tortoises, red-cockaded woodpeckers, protected Georgia plants, freshwater fish, and local amphibians/reptiles.  We are also proficient in recognizing critical habitat throughout the Southeast. 

We also have experience in aerial surveys for manatees, right whales, sea turtles, and related species performed during bridge blasts along the coast. 

It is important to do your due diligence in a timely manner before you purchase a piece of property. 

We have conducted dozens of Phase I Assessments on rural and urban land ranging from 2 to 2080 acres for private and non-profit organizations. 

In addition to the initial assessment, we work with clients on potential cleanup and provide follow up reports, if needed. 

We have prepared Baseline Environmental Documentation for multiple projects covering over 10,000 acres and provided expert witness testimony regarding Conservation Value of Property for landowners recording conservation easements. 

The Consolidated Resources team has designed mitigation banks in Georgia and Alabama since 2003.

In addition to overseeing site selection, bank construction, and compliance monitoring, we provide vital marketing and management of credit sales to private and public entities and provide annual accounting ledgers to the ACOE and our clients. 

We have successfully applied and received approval for numerous buffer variances with Georgia EPD and Muscogee County Local Issuing Authority.

We have consulted with clients that needed to restore a buffer breach and facilitated coordination between enforcement authorities and helped implement a restoration plan when areas needed to be replanted and constructed.  

The NEPA process can be daunting for many people.  We will help you understand the documenting process and help streamline your permitting process. 

We have experience with Categorical Exclusions (Automated, Programmatic, and Documented) as well as Environmental Assessments and Environmental Impact Statements.  

Owners/Operators of Privately Owned and Operated Stormwater Management Best Management Practices (BMPs) are responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance on their facilities on at least a semi-annual basis to insure they are functioning properly.
